Proposed Trail Map

Phase I of the Choptank Heritage Trail project will create a trail starting at the Hyatt Chesapeake Resort and ending at the head of the Cambridge Creek giving the 1500 weekly visitors to the Hyatt a safe, scenic, and historic pathway into downtown Cambridge.  Future expansion will run adjacent to the existing railway corridor (dotted yellow lines) tying together the cities and towns of Dorchester county.
